Title....
My experience has been overall disappointing. Lag issues along with pretty bad picture distortion. Games on Cloudlift through Onlive look better than regular games on onlive. I'm also looking forward to trying Playstation Now out soon.

I normally have damn good picture quality. The con I really have to say about cloud game well Onlive really the only experience I have, is input lag. Albeit infrequent it can be mighty annoying in say a game like tropico when in trying to click on a certain building and my mouse keeps moving after I stop moving it.

Can't say I've ever had problems with input lag, but I'm on a fibre connection so that probably helps.
I did get some picture distortion/pixelation at certain times when playing OnLive though. Nothing major but a bit crappy when you're trying to show off the service to your mates haha.

I get lag on my own PC, but I blame that on the powerline adapter. On BT Infinity and Virgin, Onlive is excellent. On old up to 8mb/s connections (usually about 5.5 being my speed) it could be patchy.
I've bought a few cloudlift games now, but not spent a lot of time on it. Had a go of Serious Sam earlier before getting lost in an FM 2014 binge.
I think cloud gaming is great, being able to fire up games anywhere there's a connection is ideal for me. The way you can buy games off steam or use ones in your own collection is getting better as more titles are added regularly. They still need a few AAA titles in there, and good publishers.
Pixelation happens, but it doesn't ruin a game. Control lag is the most devious side effect known to man.

I'm excited to try PS Now here soon. Hopefully I can brag about the experience.
